Boys Will Be Boys

Scrapped knees, a bump on the head and peeing in the grass. I guess I am officially a Mom of a boy. Add lots of laughter, jumping on the bed (falling off the bed) and running around with a head light on like a minion and you've pretty much got my day.
In addition to my baptism into being a boy's mom, we were blessed to be able to enjoy the Christmas party at the orphanage today. We arrived to loud music and balloons tied around the room. Thankfully, I had thought to pack balloons so we quickly blew up the ones we brought and let the kids kick them around the room. It was a lot of fun! The kids enjoyed a special treat of biscuits and popcorn before lunch today. Lunch also included special treats such as meat and chi-pate (grilled tortilla). The party culminated with a special cake to celebrate all that God has done at the babies home this year. We are so thankful to be a part of that story.
